Feedback requested: future annual meeting survey

VASITE is currently working on getting under contract for our 2025, 2026, and 2027 annual meetings. We intend to keep the annual meeting sometime in June in Virginia Beach, and we are currently looking at a couple of options. Some changes will have to be made because keeping things the way they are would be extremely cost prohibitive. The two main options we are looking at are below:

Option 1: Marriott

  • Stay at the Virginia Beach Marriott Oceanfront
  • Hold the conference the first week of June
  • Have the conference run Monday thru Wednesday
  • Hotel room nights would be similar to the 2023 prices
    (low $200s per nigh, near GSA per-diem limit)

Option 2: Hilton

  • Move to the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront near Neptune Park
  • Hold the conference the last week of June
  • Have the conference run Wednesday evening thru Friday noon (no change from previous years)
  • Hotel room nights would be higher than 2023 prices
    (high $200s per night, limited per-diem rooms)
