The TJPDC is seeking an experienced Director of Transportation to oversee multiple transportation planning areas including the Charlottesville-Albemarle Metropolitan Planning Organization (CA-MPO), rural transportation program, regional transit, and mobility management programs. This position manages the overall functions of transportation planning, supervises approximately four (4) departmental staff, and oversees all activities of the CA-MPO, including policy board meetings and technical advisory committees.
