Virginia’s 4E partners of Engineering, Education, Enforcement and Emergency Responders are excited to announce and invite you to a Highway Safety Summit which will occur on May 17 and 18th in Midlothian, Virginia! The Summit will have general and breakout session topics that are focused on working together to combat the recent rise in deaths and serious injury crashes in the Commonwealth. The Summit will form as the launching point to implement the new 2017-21 Strategic Highway Safety Plan.

You are encouraged to invite your local and regional partners and to find the resources to stay overnight at the venue or to make day trips to attend as you are able. More Summit and Registration information is provided below.

Target Audience

Designed for law enforcement, first responders, community partners, traffic engineers, planners, academics, and professionals interested in the latest strategies, the summit will feature general sessions on the latest DUI detection technology and changing driver culture, and break-out sessions on safety planning, highway engineering, incident management, connected and autonomous vehicles, impaired driving, public relations and crash data.
